every rose has its thorns

ok, this drawing symbolizes a big event that happened sometime over the year and it helped me grow and be the man i am today, but doesn't mean it didn't hurt at all. any ways i saw the photo somewhere and i just had to draw it cause it just spoke to me.

edit 2: I decided to enter this photo for the February contest and this represents valentines day. i know traditionally that valentines day is about being happy and being with your significant other to celebrate your love for one another. But i decided to take the darker side of whats usually a happy holiday. What about the ones that are alone, ones recently became single, ones that lost the love of their life, or what about the one that got is heart broken. like the drawing says, though beautiful and magnificent, there is always some pain to go through.
